Trauma-Informed Counselling
and Psychotherapy
My Experience
My work is informed by extensive experience in the family violence and sexual violence sector, offering counselling to people impacted by complex relational experiences. This has involved walking alongside individuals whose sense of safety, trust, autonomy, and connection has been impacted. I approach this work with care and respect, with an understanding of how these experiences can shape the ways we relate to ourselves, others and the world.
Prevent
• Prevention and Education Work

Alongside counselling, I work with schools and organisations to support education around consent, respectful relationships, and safe, informed practice. This includes working with students, staff, and systems to build awareness, strengthen understanding, and support safer environments. I believe meaningful change happens not only through individual work, but also through education, reflection, and shared responsibility.
Water
• Ecotherapy and Nature Based Work

I also facilitate nature-based and ecotherapy groups with children, young people, and adults, with a focus on life skills, emotional regulation, and connection. These approaches offer gentle ways of working that don’t rely on talking about the past. Through grounding, movement, creativity, and connection with the natural world, they can support a sense of safety, steadiness, and ease - especially when words feel hard to find.

an acknowledgement of country
I acknowledge the caretakers of the land where I practice, the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation. I recognise their enduring connection to the land, seas and waterways which have always been places of community and culture.
I acknowledge that our collective healing requires listening to uncomfortable truths, honoring the strength that has survived generation after generation, and actively working towards a more just and inclusive future.
